Date Night: Valentine's Day Edition

If you were looking for a last minute outfit idea for your date night tonight, then here ya go! If not, then let’s discuss how this look came about. I found a very similar look on Pinterest. My first thought was “Oh, this is really cute and fun” my second thought was “Wait, I can do my own version of this. I have a blazer, a belt and a fringe skirt.” BOOM!
Let’s get right to it and discuss the star of the show here. The TIGHTS! They are Wolford and I found them online at Saks 5th Ave but don’t kill me guys there aren’t many places in the US that have these in stock. I found them at ASOS in a few sizes and I did find a few UK sites that have some in stock if you really wanted this specific pair. Check them out here and here. They are a bit more pricer than your normal Target tights (which I love by the way) but way less than the $250-$300 you would spend on a pair of Fendi monogrammed tights (which I still want by the way). So if you are looking for a way to jazz up that little black dress, grab a pair or two of the Wolford printed tights. I’m definitely going to add a few more pair to my collection. Imagine them peaking through the holes in some really good distressed denim. CUTE!
Here are my tips for your Valentine’s Day date:
dress for the occasion - i.e: dinner, arcade, Netflix and Chill
wear a non transferring lip color for all the kissing you may be doing - Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks do not move!
if you expect him to go all out with gifts, at least go all out with your outfit, makeup and hair
don’t focus on the day, love all year long:)
Tell someone you love them today, even if it’s your dog, your mama, or your bestie. If you don’t celebrate the day, then Happy Effin Thursday!
